Ikebana lesson 8/24/2007
Welcome back.
Today, Eileen did two free style arrangements, one using wood (cholla branches), the other featuring water.
Donna did her free style arrangement, also.
Keeyan continued her Variation 2 slanting moribana study.

Mountain Tai Chi retreat
I went to the mountain tai chi retreat for a week during my trip to China in August. The mountain is located in Shangdong province, near Qingtao (where Qingtao beer is made.) There are lots of ikebana materials. Without any vases and kenzans, I have to use nageire technique. Found a tree trunk, that's it.
