New Container, New Arrangement

I made the container last year. Inside is the smooth round cylinder with black glaze. Outside layer is the rough surfaced square box fired with black iron oxide. I made two pieces separately. Then, I cut one side of the box, and placed the cylinder inside. The interesting contrast was achieved.
The container itself has a very strong feature. Keep in mind to show the ceramic container when arranging flowers. You need strong materials. I found the red berries from my neighbor's back yard. So I used them. No need to add anything else.

Nandina--Heavenly Bamboo

Nandina, in Japanese (written in Chinese characters), is "Southern Heaven", or "Southern Sky". With the same pronunciation but in different characters, it also refer to "Difficulty change". So, Nandina is a good material for good fengsui. People use it in different occasions, hoping difficult time passing, good fortune coming.
