Sonora Desert Sogetsu Study Group (Phoenix)
We finally have some cool nights in desert, though the day temperature is still pretty hot. But nothing can stop our passion for ikebana. After the hottest summer ever (at least I felt that way), We came back strong yesterday with a total attendance of 17 people to our first study group meeting of the year 2011/2012.
I presented the basic nageire technique, focusing on hana dome (Jika dome, Jimonji dome, Soegi dome, and metal fixture). We had a great time.
