Ikebana lessons 06/27/2009
In last few weeks, my partner/husband (we were legal in California, but not recognized in Arizona) got really sick after battling melanoma for over two years and eventually passed away. I was sad. But ikebana is my best therapy. It's good to be back teaching ikebana again.
(1) Sandy, curved and straight lines. Eucalyptus branches, horse tail, orchids.
Remove all the leaves to reveal the lines. It has a clean look, not distracted by un-attractive leaves.
(2) Yuko, free style.

Dear Ping Wei, I am very sad to read about your great loss. I am hoping that you have found some comfort and healing in your ikebana this summer. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
