ikebana class 1/11/2013

(1) Diane. (Diane brought in a beautiful vase to the class. She wanted to try free style. She only had two ikebana lessons before, basic upright moribana and basic slanting moribana. It was a challenging task for her to use that container. What she did was a good arrangement. Nothing needed to change. What I tried below is not an "after." We discussed the principles of Sogetsu Ikebana and the importance of basic "kakeiho" training. My design is based on the comprehensive understanding of materials and techniques required to carry out the idea.) (2) Ping
